If you are a fan of Shadowrun 5E's rules: Call DocWagon, they'll need to revive you at the end of this rant. Warning: I hate Shadowrun 5th Edition (5E). The DnD-Rant and this rant have already been on the internet, I just translated them (adding a bit of stuff here and there) – now I am out of pre-produced stuff. These will appear a lot less frequently from now on. There I store the DM side of the characters and a lot of worldbuilding stuff.Based on a German video I published on YouTube – differences to the original are minor. One extension I installed gives me the ability to make one namespace accessible only to me. So instead of just listing the feats, the character sheet actually shows the description paragraphs right from the PHB. The character sheet as such is basically a wiki page with a number of different templates, some free text, and some extension calls like "quote", which allows me to basically live-copy a paragraph from another page. I've got templates created for the character sheet where I can enter things and have them nicely formatted. I can just do and I get a table with the basic parameters of these spells, same with monsters and magic items. I wrote an extension that gives me short and long info on selected objects from given namespaces made with certain templates. I created namespaces and templates for spells, items, monsters, etc, and converted the books into wiki format. Hopefully it could be useful to someone else too, it sure is for my table.ĭownload (Google Drive): 4-page-CharSheet-DnD-5e.pdf - Google Drive This modified 4-paged character sheet still retains all the features of being form fillable, editable and such. Call us old fashioned, but I see lots of pens on my TTRPG table. In my group of four players + DM, only one player is using that approach, rest rely on the PDF sheet. I know many people solve this by using some electronic/web-based character sheets such as D&D Beyond, but I also know that not all do. So what I did was that I took the official three pager and added a new page 3 to it with three sections new space for additional inventory, for additional character features and a general use "notes" field that could be used really for notes but also continued for additional stuff in the inventory. I saw other problems solved and fancy things like companion/familiar trackers, but nowhere saw I added inventory/character features space. I tried to google alternative PDF sheets and while I found some, some even on Reddit too such as the variant called " Current Standard v1.4" and another titled " Enhanced Edition v1.7", nothing I found solved the biggest problem my group has space. In my campaigns (I'm the DM) I've noticed that the greatest struggle regarding character sheet while using the WoTC official form-fillable PDF, is to get everything necessary to fit into the three-page official PDF sheet.
